Proper containment is a MUST have.

Height:
Minimum of 6ft tall with 2ft lean ins.
8ft is recommended but can still be scaled.
(I have seen 14ft tall containment.)
4-5ft if you have a solid non escape roof.
Size:
minimum of 20x20ft. The larger you can go the better.
Flooring:
Recommend at least 4ft of mesh that is buried under 2-6 inches of top soil/sand..ect
or 2+ mesh buried below the fence.
Material:
- 9 gauge chain link (11 guage can bend and break)
- Cattle and/or horse panels (16ft L x 4-5ft H. Horse panels: 4x4 squares)
Not recommended:
- Wood
- Farm fence, flimsy mesh
- 2x4 11 gauge welded (however this is “okay” for flooring)
