I always had a drawing to wolves, as well as other animals. Growing up my bedroom was decorated with wolves, as well as other animals of the forest.
It wasn't until the last 5+ years where I actually was able to meet a real wolf and later surround myself with animals that are wolf like.
Many consider them "Wolf Hybrids" or the new proper term "Wolfdogs"
Even though our household pets known as Dogs do in fact have wolf heritage as well, we don't often consider them to be descendants of wolves and are taught to believe wolf blood hasn't been bred into dogs for 1000's of years where in fact less then 100 years ago pure wolves were used to create German Shepherds. In the passed few years I have come across many wonderful people who helped teach me so much about wolves as well as wolfdogs. Because they have spent hours on end talking to me, teaching me, and learning with me for the passed few years To those people who have taught me so much and are still helping me learn-I want to thank you!
I do not consider myself an expert nor a "know it all" clearly I have much to learn. And I could pretty much guarantee there is no one out there that knows everything.
My hopes are by creating this site that I can help educate/spread what I do know about these wonderful animals to others. As I too needed help with being educated.
The key is: Never stop, Always look forward, And keep learning. Its when you stop thats when problems happen.
